Three cells in a row, column or box that hold only the same three digits between them.
What to look for
Look for three cells in one row, column or box whose candidates, taken together, are just three digits. Each cell need not have all three: 1 2, 2 3 and 1 3 make a naked triple too.
Why it works
Those three cells need three different digits, and only those three are possible for them. So all three digits are used up there, and no other cell of that row, column or box can hold any of them.

Naked triple
In row 7, three cells can only hold 1, 2, 8.
So 1 can go from the highlighted cells.
The cells that show the pattern are in amber, the cells it changes in green, and the candidates it removes are circled.
